We’re looking for a Part-Time Virtual Administrative & Social Media Assistant to join our team!

Position Overview:

We’re hiring a part-time virtual assistant who can help us more effectively streamline and systematize the operations of the business so we can reach thousands of more people worldwide who are ready to expand their dream world.

Who We Are:

Dream World is a brand founded by Jessica Scheer and Manari Ushigua to share knowledge about the dream and spirit world from the Sapara culture (Ecuadorian Amazon) with folks around the world. We believe that when we remember our dreams, we can change the world. Through cultivating a deeper relationship with dreams and the spirit world, people can become their own leader and transform their life. Through our live online course Dream World and weekly Dream Circle (launching soon), we create community and share these important teachings with students around the world. Our goal is to serve thousands of students worldwide. Dream World launched in August 2020 and has quickly expanded to serving over 400 students and growing in the last year. Our goal is to expand our reach through creating consistent content across platforms.

Role:

This position will work closely with Jessica, the Program Director, to seamlessly execute the backend of the business. Day-to-day responsibilities include social media management, content creation, customer service, program support, and website maintenance. You will also work with Manari Ushigua on content creation, scheduling, etc. It is a MUST that you are fully bilingual in English and Spanish (reading and writing) and highly tech savvy.

Responsibilities:

Administrative tasks including answering emails, engaging in the community facebook group, replying to comments and messages across social media platforms
Build out social media accounts: create business Facebook page, TikTok account & YouTube channel and help develop content and consistently post engaging content
Light video editing, translating and adding subtitles to videos and posts, basic graphic design for social media posts & website assets
Content creation: turn live class content into shareable micro-content that can be shared across platforms. For example, watching a live class and grabbing quotes for Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest, short video excerpts for these platforms as well as TikTok & YouTube and writing captions for all content. You will also turn content into blog posts & PDF guides.
Website management: update content on website, build new pages (on SquareSpace)
Email Marketing: draft 2x/mo newsletter, draft and send all program related emails (we use Flodesk)
Financial Spreadsheets: update & manage
Scheduling support for Manari: manage his calendar for 1:1 sessions, live classes etc.
Manage the Dream World affiliate program: enrolling folks in the program, sharing promo copy & resources with affiliates, managing affiliate customer service & commission payouts

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Loves social media & technology
Proactive
Self starter, independent
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Understanding of G-suite, Slack, Asana (or a similar project management tool), SquareSpace, Flodesk (or a comparable email marketing platform), Teachable
Have experience using design tools like Canva or PicMonkey
Know how to edit videos, add captions
Enjoys coordinating and working with a team to collaborate
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest

This is a part time position (15-20 hours per week) with the potential to grow with time. Salary is commensurate based on experience and will be discussed in the interview process.
